| New standardised Labour Market Intelligence for Careers Advisors In readiness for the creation of the new Adult Advancement and Careers Service in England, new Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) is being developed by SSCs in a standard format. The aim is to assist Careers Advisors in understanding up to date sector activity, for use in advising their clients. Read more about this new LMI by clicking the link above. |

| Spotlight on... We will provide an overview of one or more Sector Skills Councils in each edition of this e-newsletter. This quarter we are focusing on Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for Creative Media. Its footprint covers TV, film, radio, interactive media, animation, computer games, facilities, photo imaging and publishing. Skillset Careers is responsible for developing careers policy and strategy for the creative media industries. Skillset also delivers an industry careers guidance service via e-mail, phone and face-to-face guidance sessions. To read on, click the link above. |
